About Youth 2030 Cities

Youth 2030 Cities builds the capacity of youth and engages them with local and national governments to create sustainable cities. Youth 2030 Cities is supported by UN-Habitat and the Healthy Cities for Adolescents (HCA) programme. Youth 2030 Cities is in its pilot phase and is engaging six countries globally – Ghana, Senegal, India, Vietnam, Colombia and Ecuador.

Research on urban youth

An assessment of youth localization of the SDGs select countries and cities was undertaken to better understand how youth are engaging in sustainable urbanisation.

SDG Localisation Training

A series of on-site workshops in selected cities to build youth capacity in engaging with cities and communities for achieving SDGs

SDG Localisation Scorecard

An impact measurement and reporting platform designed to measure the impact of youth-led action in communities and cities globally

Youth 2030 Forums

Youth 2030 Forums bring together youth to learn and exchange on sustainable urbanisation and development of a global DeclarACTION of urban youth

Regional Focus

Youth 2030 Cities strives to know about the amazing work young people do worldwide to localize the SDGs, addressing issues related to sustainable urbanisation, involving local government and a wide range of stakeholders.
