Murat Kurum
Minister of Environment and Urbanization, Turkey
Murat Kurum is an acting Minister of Environment and Urbanization of Turkey (assumed his post on 10 July 2018). Having worked in the private sector for several years, he performed advisory functions at the Ankara Housing Development Administration between and served as Unit Manager Responsible for the European Side at TOKİ’s Istanbul Implementation Department, and worked as General Manager and Board Member at Emlak Konut GYO A.Ş., an affiliate of TOKİ.
Murat Kurum holds a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Selçuk University and a Master’s degree in Urban Transformation.
